(1) Research Fellow
We are looking for a highly motivated Research Fellow with a recent PhD in neuroscience, biological imaging, or a related discipline to join our team.
The successful candidate will develop and apply advanced imaging approaches, including miniaturized two-photon (mini2P) microscopy, to investigate neuronal signaling in the brain. We are looking for someone who understands imaging and is comfortable working with complex imaging and behavioral datasets, with strong quantitative reasoning and the ability to analyze and visualize data to extract meaningful biological insights.
The project will also provide opportunities to develop and apply new molecular and chemical biology tools to address fundamental questions in neurobiology. Our broader goal is to understand how signaling pathways operating within individual neurons shape neural activity, circuit computation and ultimately behavior.
Beyond technical expertise, we particularly value scientific independence: the ability to identify interesting questions, formulate hypotheses, and design rigorous experiments to address them. The candidate should be adaptable, intellectually curious, and enthusiastic about learning and developing new approaches.
The candidate will also be expected to be a strong team player, contribute to the intellectual development of projects, and take on leadership and mentoring roles within the team.
Candidates do not need to arrive with expertise in every technique we use. We value the ability to think independently, learn across disciplines, and work collaboratively to address challenging biological questions.
